Dedicated IP - High Speed, Full-Time Access
Dedicated IP service is ideal for businesses and BBSes that require high-speed, full-time access the Internet or that wish provide Internet access to local WWW or FTP servers.
Installation Process
- Contact HoloNet for a service quote.
- Customer orders service from HoloNet (requires initial payment)
- Customer obtains equipment from approved equipment list.
- Line installed at customer site (usually at least 6 weeks from date of order). Service charges begin.
- Customer installs router and CSU/DSU.
Included Services
- NNTP Service
An NNTP feed for one NNTP Server or NNTP Client access for one Class C Network.
- SMTP Forwarding
A smart SMTP forwarding service for mail originating from one Class C Network.
- HTTP Proxy Service
HTTP proxy service for one Class C Network.
- DNS Service
Domain Name Service for one Class C Network.
- NTP Server
Access to a time synchronizing server for one Class C Network.
Terms
- Standard HoloNet Terms and Conditions apply.
- Dedicated connections to the Internet are available throughout the
continental U.S. (Some limitations apply).
- Service must be prepaid quarterly.
- The minimum term of service is one year.
- Service is only for one Class C Network and conductivity support
is only for the connecting site.
- HoloNet does not guarantee connectivity to any portion of the
Internet but does make reasonable efforts to insure maximum connectivity.
- Customers are responsible for maintaining their own security.
- The approved equipment list assumes the remote site is using Ethernet.
- Router configuration and diagnostic assistance is only available
for hardware on the approved equipment
list and for customers who provide V.32, V.32bis or V.34 modem access to their
router.
