HoloNet Membership

HoloNet membership costs $6.00 a month or
$60.00 a year, if annual billing is chosen.
- Access Rates
-
HoloNet members using their accounts for Internet access may choose between
either the Basic Monthly Plan or the 30/30 Plan. Under the Basic Monthly Plan,
$6.00 each month is applied towards your connect charges. The $6.00 monthly
membership fee is automatically included with the 30/30 plan.
You may conveniently switch between the two plans online. All changes will
take effect at the start of your new billing period. Connect charges are
billed in one minute increments.

The rate chart below describes HoloNet hourly connect charges. Each
month, $6.00 is applied towards your monthly usage.

- 30/30 Plan
The 30/30 plan provides 30 hours of access for $30.00. Additional charges
apply for using the CPN* network and for usage exceeding the first
30 hours. Please see the rate chart below.

- Data Storage
Each month you get 1 MB of data storage free. Data storage in excess
of 1MB is $1.00/MB/Mo. Data storage includes mail and any other files that
are stored at HoloNet.

- HoloWWW

- HoloIP
- The one time setup fee for HoloIP service is $25.00. Hourly access charges apply. HoloIP customers may choose between either the Basic Monthly Plan or the 30/30 Plan. There are no additional charges for connecting over ISDN.

- Unlimited HoloIP
- The one time setup fee for unlimited HoloIP service is $25.00. HoloIP
unlimited service is available from our San Francicso, CA modem numbers. The
monthly rate is based upon bandwidth.

- Unlimited rate service only provides IP service. Access to other HoloNet services is charged at the regular access rates. Your monthly membership credit of $6.00 is applied towards your flat rate service. Each month of flat rate service is billed in advance. Your first month of flat rate
service is prorated based upon the number of days left in your billing period.

- HoloDNS
- HoloNet's custom domain name service allows HoloNet members to customize
their Internet services. The one-time setup fee for a custom DNS is $25.00. *
Linking a domain name to a HoloWWW site is also a one-time $25.00 fee.
A domain name can be linked to additional HoloNet accounts for a fee of $25.00 per account, per root domain.
Linking your domain name to more than ten (10) HoloNet Accounts at one time, or linking more than ten (10) domain names to your account at one time, can be done for a flat fee of $250.00.

* Note: The InterNIC will charge a separate domain name registration fee, billing you directly.

- HoloUUCP
- The one time setup fee for HoloUUCP service is $50.00. Hourly access charges and data transfer charges apply. All UUCP customers receive a FREE HoloIP account setup, a $25.00 value. UUCP service is billed on Basic Monthly rates only. There is no flat rate or 30/30 plan for HoloUUCP service.
Data Transfer
Data transfer charges only apply to UUCP service. The first megabyte
(MB) of data transferred per connect hour is free. Each additional MB is
$1.00/MB off-peak, $2.00/MB peak. For example, if you were logged on for
one hour during off-peak time and transferred 2MB you would be charged an
additional $1.00 for the extra MB of data transfer. If you were logged on
for only 1/2 hour you would get 1/2MB of data transfer free.
- HoloMailer
- The set up fee for HoloMailer is $100.00. Usage is billed at $0.05 per
message sent out plus $1.00 per MB of mail sent out.

External Network Access Fees

- The fees charged by IAT for HoloNet, HoloIP, HoloUUCP or other services
of IAT do not include telecommunications access charges for telephone, ISDN,
DSL, cable-modem or other means of acquiring access to the service. By
entering into this agreement, you acknowledge your understanding that such
charges will be assessed by your telecommunications provider and are in
addition to the IAT-provided services covered by this agreement.
* CPN Network Access Discontinued

- On April 15, 2001, HoloNet discontinued use of the CPN nationwide dialup
access network. Current users of the CPN network can continue to use their
HoloNet accounts by dialing into our HPA access number (415-657-3411) in
San Francisco, CA.
