Adding HoloIP Service

In order to use HoloIP service, you need a regular HoloNet account --> See: Joining

Once you've created an account, you need to log in. Then, starting at the HoloNet Main Menu, select:

          [A] HoloNet Additional Services
          [O] Order Services
          <I> HoloIP (SLIP or PPP) Order Form

Once you add the service, all the relevant information needed to configure your software will be e-mailed to your HoloNet account.

HoloNet is only responsible for configuring and providing the HoloNet side of the IP service. Users are responsible for configuring their own system. This includes, but is not limited to, configuring chat scripts, modems, IP software, and application software.

Although HoloNet will attempt to assist you in configuring your system, HoloNet cannot support every software package and configuration. For your own protection, you should make sure the software you choose is well supported.

HoloNet Terminal Sessions

If while connecting to HoloNet via HoloIP you telnet or login into a HoloNet host for a terminal session, you will be billed for both your IP session and your HoloNet terminal session.
